External Modem
With the pointer indicating external modem,
configure the communications properties using the
following procedure:

On the Config screen, press 2 for Communication
Properties.

Press the number that corresponds to the external
modem setting you want to change:
1 - Displays the RS232 Rate Communications
screen. Skip to Setting the Baud Rate on page 24.
2 - Displays the external modem Communication
Strings Screen. Skip to Configuring the Modem
Strings on page 24.
NOTE: The term "baud" refers to the RS232
serial data rate selection.
