Setting the Rotisserie for Variable Axis

With lower volumes in the sample tubes, you may wish to
set the rotisserie for variable axis motion to assist in
hybridization. Follow this procedure to change the rotis-
serie motion from straight motion, where the sample
tubes remain level, to variable axis motion, where the
sample tubes are at an angle.

Unloading the Rotisserie

After running the program, follow this procedure to unload
the rotisserie:
1.
Close the incubator door, set the temperature,
and set the rotisserie motor switch on to start
processing.
At the conclusion of processing, set the power
switch off, open the incubator door, and unload
the rotisserie.
Set the power switch off, then remove the rotis-
serie from the incubator.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the two
screws on one or both ends of the rotisserie
hubs, depending on the desired offset. These
screws are shown at left.
If you have the optional rotisserie for the small
incubator, loosen the two screws near the mid-
dle of the rotisserie, shown at left.
Set the rotisserie to the desired offset. You may
want to install a sample tube and move the rotis-
serie to check the setting.
Tighten the screws so the rotisserie does not
twist.
Install the rotisserie into the incubator.
Open the incubator door. Have power switched
on, and the rotisserie motor switched off.
