FAULT
The disc does not fully open or close.
Excessive opening or closing torque.
The valve is not fully watertight at the sockets.

PROBLEMA
La compuerta no abre o cierra completamente.
Excesivo par de apertura o cierre.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
The sockets were not correctly bevelled.
Foreign materials in the compartment (adhesive,
etc.).
The valve has been inactive for a long time.
Overtemperature or chemical attack cause
damage to the gasket.
Excessive flange torque.
Misalignment between sockets and valve.
Misalignment between sockets and valve.
Flange screws not tight enough.
Inadequate chemicals.
Temperature out of range.
Excess pressure.
Conduction of abrasive elements.
Damaged sealing gasket.
Lack of current.
The actuator stroke is not properly adjusted to
the valve.
The torque of the valve has increased above the
calculated value.
CAUSA
Los manguitos PE-100 no han sido achaflanados
correctamente o no son del mismo DN.
Elementos extraños en el compartimento (adhesivo,
etc.).
La válvula ha estado mucho tiempo sin maniobrar.
Deterioro de la junta por exceso de temperatura o por
ataque químico.
Par de embridado excesivo.
Desalineación entre manguitos y válvula.
Desalineación entre manguitos y válvula.
Falta de apriete de los tornillos de embridado.
Elementos químicos inapropiados.
Temperatura fuera de valores.
Exceso de presión.
Conducción de elementos abrasivos.
Junta dañada.
Falta de corriente.
El par del actuador no está bien ajustado con el de la
válvula.
El par de la válvula ha crecido por encima del valor
calculado.

FAULT CLEARANCE
Disassemble the valve and bevel the sockets as
indicated in table T6.2.
Disassemble the valve and check for obstructions
in the disc and gasket contact area.
Operate with an auxiliary release key (not plastic
handle).
Disassemble the valve and lubricate the sealing
gasket.
Check the chemical compatibility of the liquid with
the disc and the working temperature. Replace the
gasket.
Tighten flanges as indicated in T6.1.
Disassemble the valve and reassemble with
concentric alignment (observe the correct
tightening sequence and torque Fig.5).
Disassemble the valve and reassemble with
concentric alignment (observe the correct
tightening sequence and torque Fig.5).
Tighten flanges as indicated in T6.1.
Check compliance with the specifications in this
document.
Replace the gasket.
Check current supply to the actuator
Check adjustment limits according to the actuator
manual.
Check the valve: obstructions in the disc or
malfunction of the valve.
SOLUCIÓN
Desmontar la válvula y achaflanar los manguitos según
T6.2. Comprobar estado de la compuerta y DN de los
manguitos.
Desmontar la válvula y comprobar obstrucciones en la
zona de contacto de la compuerta con la junta.
Accionamiento con una llave auxiliar (no la maneta).
Desmontar la válvula y lubricar la junta.
Revisar compatibilidad química del líquido con la
compuerta y temperatura de trabajo. Cambiar la junta.
Embridar según T6.1.
Desmontar la válvula y volver a montar con alineación
concéntrica (respetar el orden y el par de apriete Fig.5).
Desmontar la válvula y volver a montar con alineación
concéntrica (respetar el orden y el par de apriete Fig.5).
Embridar según T6.1.
Comprobar el cumplimiento de las características
técnicas de este documento.
Sustituir la junta.
Comprobar la fuente de alimentación del actuador.
Comprobar los ajustes de acuerdo con el manual del
actuador.
Comprobar la válvula: obstrucciones en la bola o mal
funcionamiento.
