OPERATION
Controls (Fig.1)
Button TC1 (Lights)
Switches main light ON/OFF
Button TC2 (Motor-V1)
Motor ON/OFF - Activates the motor at 1st speed.
Button TC3 (Motor-V2)
Activates the motor at 2nd speed.
Button TC4 (Motor-V3)
Activates the motor at 3rd speed.
Button TC5 (Motor-V4)
Activates the motor at 4th speed.
Button TC6 (TIMER auto power off 10 min.)
Activates the TIMER function at the speed that has already been selected If the motor is NOT active,
it switches on the motor at the 1st speed and activates the TIMER function When the TIMER function
is active, BL6 lighting blinking.
- Press key TC2 and TC5 simultaneously for 5 seconds; when the function is activated all the LEDs
switch off, then keys TC2, 3, 4 , 5 activate flashing three times; then TC2 key and the selected
speed switch on.
- In order to store the new setting, press shortly key TC2 or wait 15 seconds. Your setup is
memorized.
- When the new setting is memorized, key TC2 flashes twice and then all the LEDs switch off.
Cleaning Mode
Pressing simultaneously for 2 seconds keys TC1 and TC6 activates the glass cleaning function.
When the function is active the system does not recognize any key. When the cleaning Mode is active
TC1 and TC6 backlight is steadily on. The function will stay on for maximum 5 minutes. To stop the
Cleaning Mode press for 2 seconds keys TC1 and TC6 simultaneously or wait for 5 minutes.
30h filter ALARM
After 30 hours of operation, an alarm switches on to signal the need for anti-grease filter cleaning. The
filter alarm, when active, is displayed for 30 sec each time the motor is deactivated: BL6 lighting ON.
During this period, it is possible to reset the alarm by pressing the TC6 button for longer than a
second.
120h filter ALARM
After 120 hours of operation, an alarm switches on to signal the need for active carbon filter (optional)
replacement. The filter alarm, when active, is displayed for 30 sec each time the motor is deactivated:
BL6 lighting blinking. During this period, it is possible to reset the alarm by pressing the TC6 button for
longer than a second.
Auto Shut-Off Feature
If the blower and/or the lights are on continuously for 10 hours without any user interaction with the
controls, the hood will automatically shut off. Press any control button to re-activate the hood.
Buzzer
The Buzzer emits a "beep" each time that a command is set from the keyboard or remote control
(optional).
HEAT SENTRY™
Your hood is equipped with a HEAT SENTRY™ thermostat. This thermostat is a device that will turn
on or speed up the blower if it senses excessive heat above the cooking surface.
1) If blower is OFF - it turns blower ON to HIGH speed.
2) If blower is ON at a lower speed setting - it turns blower up to HIGH speed.
When the temperature level drops to normal, the blower will return to its original setting.
WARNING
The HEAT SENTRY thermostat can start the blower even if the hood is turned OFF. When
this occurs, it is impossible to turn the blower OFF with its switch. If you must stop the
blower, do it from the main electrical
panel.
