Remove the adhesive labels on the supply ports.

Make sure that the connections and

tubing of the DNCKE−... are free from dirt
particles and foreign matter.
Use tubing lines with short dimensions.

you will achieve shorter closing times of
the clamping unit.
Connect the tubing to the supply ports of

the clamping unit 2 and, if applicable, of
the cylinder 1 as per EN 983.

If used in fine dusty or misty ambient atmosphere:
1. Use a barbed fitting (e.g. type
QS−CM−M5−...) instead of the filter nipple
aA in the exhaust channel of the spring
interior.
2. Connect the tubing outside of the dirt
zone with clean air.
Electrical installation
If proximity switches are used in the cylinder with clamping unit (only with type
DNCKE−...):
Use proximity switches type

SME−8−.../SMT−8−... (see Accessories").
Place the proximity switches in the

grooves 8 of the cylinder.
Fasten the proximity switches in the de
