If the product is used as a braking device:

Frequent use of the product as a brake will increase wear depending on how
often it is used.
S Therefore, check the overtravel regularly (in accordance with the specifica
tions in the chapter Validating by checking" in the validation report as per
EN 13849−2).
The overtravel depends on the loading and on the following ambient condi
tions: temperature, oil on the piston rod, switching cycle rate, speed, mass,
operating pressure and control (diagrams see chapter Characteristic cur
ves").

If there is excessive accumulation of dirt.
fat solvent fluids or fumes in the vicinity.
Avoid the piston rod or the exhaust hole 7 becoming dirty.
