Danger
Risk of injury from engine being
started unintentionally.
Protect yourself from injury.
Before working on the engine:
– Switch off the engine.
– Wait until all moving parts have
come to standstill; the engine
must have cooled down.
– Remove spark-plug terminal.
Disposal instructions
Dispose of packaging remnants,
old units, etc., in accordance with
local regulations.
Installing and adjusting
the hand grip

Remove hand grip. To do this,
loosen the 4 screws.
Fit the anti-vibration rubber pad
on the shaft.
Place the hand grip from above
onto the anti-vibration pad.
Align the holes of the lower
retention plate with the screws in
the hand grip. Screw in the 4
screws. Do not tighten yet! Hold
the unit in the operating position
(Fig. 12) and move the hand grip
into the position which offers you
the best grip.
Tighten the 4 screws until the
hand grip is secure.
Installing/removing the lower
drive shaft

Installation
Remove protective cap (optional)
from the shaft coupling and lower
drive shaft.
Turn screw handle (1) on the shaft
coupling (2) anti-clockwise
to open the shaft coupling.
Press release button (3)
on the lower drive shaft and push
the shaft into the shaft coupling
until the release button engages
in the retaining hole (4).
