6. MAINTENANCE
6.1 Instructions for returning by mail
Instruments returned for repair or calibration, either within or out with the guarantee
period, should be forwarded with the following information: Name of the Company,
name of the contact person, address, telephone number, receipt (in the case of
coverage under guarantee) and a description of the problem or the service required.
6.2 Replacing the Battery
The battery needs to be replaced when it is found that its capacity after charging
has considerably reduced. To replace the battery, follow the steps detailed below:
1. Turn off the instrument.
2. Remove the top and bottom covers.
3. Remove the screw that fixes the circuit board to the rear panel.
4. Disconnect the battery, the fan and the flat cables.
5. Remove the rear panel. To do this, remove the two panel securing screws.
6. Remove the four screws that hold the battery to the panel.
7. Disconnect the battery.
From here follow the opposite process:
1. Replace the four screws that hold the battery to the panel.
2. Replace the rear panel and fix the two panel securing screws.
3. Connect the cable of the ventilator, the feeder and the flat cable.
4. Fix the screw that holds the circuit board to the rear panel.
5. Replace the bottom and top covers.
