12. Cleaning and maintenance

12.1 Checking the water level

Labormat devices are hot water devices
which release steam during the spray
process and when the lid is open. This
lowers the water level and necessi-
tates checking the water level on a
daily basis.
If the water level reaches the level
of the heating cover (6), it is im-

Important: Always pull the mains
plug before opening the device.
The overheating protection safety
switch (21) is located on the control
panel (7) and is secured with a pro-
tective cap.
If reactivation is necessary, release the

models, the wax dissolved in water
should be removed daily.
Do this by setting the temperature con-
troller (19/22) to 0 °C or switching off
the device and allowing it to cool (ide-
ally overnight).
The wax dissolved in the water auto-
matically collects as a layer on the sur-
face as the water cools down. After
removing the flask baskets and support
plate (55), this layer can be scooped out

ough cleaning at least once a week and
more frequently if used more often after
scooping out the wax layer. Discharge
the residual water through the drain-
age valve (43) on the bottom left of
the rear wall. The valve (43) is opened
by turning the red regulating wheel
to the left on the left housing wall.
The waste water can be collected in
a bucket or directed into the sewerage
system through a hose (only possible
