WARNING!
To use the burner correctly and to save fuel it is not advisable to change the burner operation temperature. Once the ope-
ration temperature is fixed you should leave the automatic burner to regulate itself.
If the burner is subjected to thermoregulation, once the desired room temperature is fixed its operation is completely auto-
matic and requires no further calibration.
SWITCHING OFF THE BURNER
This can be done in four different ways:
1) Set the switch of the burner at "stop". To switch it on again, set it at "start" and the burner will start.
2) Set the room thermostat at 5o C. To switch it on again, set the room thermostat at 20o C and the burner will start.
3) Set the boiler thermostat at 30o C. To switch it on again, set the boiler thermostat at 70o C and the burner will start.
4) Switch off the main switch. To switch it on again, flip the main switch on and the burner will start.
BURNER MALFUNCTIONING
DEFECT
The burner does not start.
The burner starts but no flame is
formed and it goes into block.
The burner starts, a flame is for-
med but the burner is blocked.
Irregular or smoky flame.
NOTE:
The inconveniencies listed in this leaflet can only be detected by our Assistance Service. Please remember
that good burner functioning is unfortunately completely related to very important factors which are absolutely
independent from the burner, such as fuel, electricity, the plant it is used on, the particular characteristics of this
plant (type of boiler, draught etc). These factors may cause the burner not to work or to work improperly.
CAUSE
a) Lack of electricity.
a) Dirty or incorrectly positioned
electrode tips.
b) Fuel does not reach the burner.
c) Clogged nozzles or electro-
magnetic valves.
d) No discharge on the electrodes.
a) Dirty photoresistance.
b) Partially clogged or insufficien-
tly pulverising nozzles.
a) Badly pulverising nozzles.
b) Wrong dosage of combustion
air.
c) Insufficient pre-heater tempera-
ture.

b) Check the thermostat line.
a) Clean electrode tips and set them
at their correct distances.
b) Check fuel level and the opening of
the gates.
c) Clean the nozzles and the electro-
magnetic valves.
d) Replace the ignition transformer.
a) Remove the photoresistance from
its seat and use a cloth to clean its
sensitive part.
b) Clean or replace the nozzles.
a) Clean or replace the nozzles.
b) Restore the correct amount of air
by working on the air servo com-
mand.
c) Work on the thermostats to reach
the correct naphtha temperature.
