overtightening.
8. Now use the impact wrench to tighten the bolt or nut.
9. Check whether the bolt or nut was tightened to exactly the same extent
as with the torque wrench.
Result 1 / 3
The bolt or nut was not adequately tightened
▶ Release the bolt or nut and reset the torque module to the next higher
setting.
▶ Tighten the bolt or nut using the new setting and carry out this step of
the test again.
Result 2 / 3
The bolt or nut was overtightened.
▶ Release the bolt or nut and reset the torque module to the next lower
setting.
▶ Tighten the bolt or nut using the new setting and carry out this step of
the test again.
Result 3 / 3
The bolt or nut was tightened to exactly the same extent as with the
torque wrench
The correct setting for the bolt or nut has been determined.

5.6.3 "Unregulated" operating mode

Adaptive torque control is deactivated in this operating mode. The impact
wrench then functions as though the adaptive torque control module was
not fitted to the tool. The adaptive torque module therefore does not have
to be removed for short periods of use without adaptive torque control.
In the "Unregulated" operating mode the display shows the following:

In the "Unregulated" operating mode the "AT" torque display control
LED does not light. The torque can be set on the impact wrench.

5.7 Setting the operating mode

The operating mode can be set in 2 different ways to the desired type of
screw/bolt fastening:
• By scanning the applicable bar code or QR code
• By manually adjusting the setting by way of the buttons on the torque
module
