Installation of the threaded fastener undertaken in the "Adaptive" oper-
ating mode is faulty, because the specified installation torque was not
achieved. The threaded fasteners tightened since the previous check are
to be regarded as faulty and must be checked. The impact wrench must
be checked by Hilti Service.
5.10.2 Checking bolted connections made using the "Bolting" operat-
ing mode
▶ At regular intervals, use a suitable torque wrench in accordance with the
manufacturer's instructions or specifications, to check that the nominal
torque has been achieved.
5.11 Removing the battery
▶ Remove the battery (→ SIW 6ATA22 operating instructions).
5.12 Removing the torque module
1. Remove the battery. → page 17
2. Press the release button on the torque module and hold it in this position.
3. Pull the torque module away from the impact wrench to the rear.
5.13 Connecting the torque module to a PC
1. Remove the torque module. → page 17
2. Open the sliding cover on the underside of the torque module.
◁ The USB socket is then accessible.
3. Plug the connector on the USB cable (type B, USB 2.0) into the USB
socket on the torque module.
4. Plug the other connector on the USB cable (type A) into the PC.
◁ The PC then supplies power to the torque module. The USB logo
is shown in the display on the module.
