2. Quite el filtro (C, Figura 25).
3. Retire el pre-filtro (E, Figura 25), si tiene, del filtro. Para
soltar la suciedad, golpee suavemente el filtro sobre una
superficie dura. Si el filtro está excesivamente sucio,
cámbielo por otro nuevo.
4. Lave el prelimpiador con detergente líquido
y agua. Luego deje que se seque al aire
completamente. No aplique aceite en el pre-filtro.
5. Monte el pre-filtro seco, si tiene, en el filtro.
6. Instale el filtro (C, Figura 25).
7. Cierre la tapa (B, Figura 25).
Paper Air Filter
1. Loosen the fastener(s) (A, Figure 26).

2. Remove the cover (B, Figure 26).
3. To prevent debris from falling into the carburetor, carefully
remove the pre-cleaner (D, Figure 26) and the filter (C)
from the air filter base.
4. Remove the pre-cleaner (D, Figure 26), if equipped, from
the filter (C).
5. To loosen debris, gently tap the filter (C, Figure 26) on a
hard surface. If the filter is excessively dirty, replace with
a new filter.
6. Wash the pre-cleaner (D, Figure 26), if equipped, in liquid
detergent and water. Allow the pre-cleaner to thoroughly
air dry. Do not oil the pre-cleaner.
7. Assemble the dry pre-cleaner (D, Figure 26), if equipped,
to the filter (C).
8. Install the filter (C, Figure 26) and the pre-cleaner (D), if
equipped, onto the air filter base. Make sure the filter fits
securely on the air filter base.
9. Install the cover (B, Figure 26) and secure with the
fastener(s) (A). Make sure the fastener(s) is tight.
