CHANGING THE POSITION OF THE REVERSING VALVE LEVER
The rotation symbols appear on both sides of the tool because the reversing valve lever can be moved from one side of the tool to the other
so it can be operated with either hand.
To change the position of the reversing valve:
• Remove the roll pin from the trigger. Be sure to support the trigger while driving out the pin to prevent bending the throttle valve.
• Note the setting of the control valve knob.
• Remove the setscrew from the control valve knob.
• Remove the control valve knob.
• Note what direction the reverse valve lever is set for.
• Remove the setscrew from the reverse valve lever.
• Remove the reverse valve lever.
• Reinstall the reverse valve lever on the opposite side of the tool. Be sure it is set for the same rotation as it was on the other side.
• Reinstall the setscrew in the reverse valve lever. Make sure the setscrew engages the hole in the reverse valve.
• Reinstall the control valve knob. Make sure it is at the same setting was in originally.
• Reinstall the setscrew in the control valve knob. Make sure the setscrew engages the hole in the control valve.
• Reinstall the trigger. Be sure to support the trigger while driving in the pin to prevent bending the throttle valve.
CONTROLLING OUTPUT
The output of the tool is controlled with the Control Valve Knob located behind the trigger.
Set the knob to 1 for minimum output and to 4 for maximum output.
