Connecting the inverter
Caution!

Make sure the plug (fig. 1 4, page 3) is firmly connected in the socket. If the
connection is loose, the plug may heat up and cause the inverter to malfunction.
Caution!

Do not operate any connected power consuming device while driving the vehi-
cle. Only operate device when vehicle is stationary.
Note
I
If you connect the device to the cigarette lighter, remember that the ignition must
be turned on to supply it with power.
Fasten the inverter as follows (fig. 2, page 3):
Screw the rail to the floor.
Push the inverter onto the rail.
Insert the plug into a 12 V cigarette lighter socket or into a 12 V on-board socket.
The middle pin (fig. 1 3, page 3) of the plug must be connected to the positive (+)
wire and the two side brackets (fig. 1 2, page 3) of the plug must be connected to
the negative (-) wire.
Connecting the 230 V device
Insert the European-plug version of the 230 V device into the 230 V output (fig. 1 4,
page 3).
Charging the USB device
Note:

Always refer to the operating manual for your USB device.
To charge a rechargeable device via the USB connection, plug the USB connection
of the device into the USB charger port (fig. 1 5, page 3).
