6. TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
CAUSE
No soap suction
Smoke comes out
from the device.
Not enough
pressure.
The pressure
washer does not
start up.

The nozzle is not at low
pressure.
The high-pressure
extension hose or hose is
too long.
The pump injector is
clogged.
The soap bottle is clogged
Overheating, overload or
damaged motor.
Water inlet filter is
clogged.
Air from the hose
connections is entering
the pump.
The nozzle or relief valves
are worn or not the
correct size.
The unit is pressurized.
Plug is not well connected
or electric socket is
defective.
Extension cord is too long
or wire size too small.
Main voltage supply is
too low.
Thermal safety switch
has tripped.
SOLUTION
Turn the nozzle to the low-
pressure position.
Remove the high-pressure
extension hose or use a
shorter one (less than 7 m).
Contact the Technical Support
Service of Cecotec.
Clean the accessory with warm
water or replace it.
Turn the device immediately
of and contact the Technical
Support Service of Cecotec.
Clean the water inlet filter.
Check that connections and
locking ring are properly
tightened.
Contact the Technical Support
Service of Cecotec.
Squeeze trigger on gun.
Check plug, socket and fuse.
Remove extension cord.
Check that main supply
matches the voltage stated on
the product's rating label.
Switch the device off and allow
it to cool down.
