KIT PREPARATION
Attention! The factory dash panel will no
longer be able to be reused with the factory
radio after the following modifications have
been made.
1. Place the cut template over the factory
dash panel. (Figure A)
2. Using a scribe tool or silver marker,
mark the perforated area, and (4) drill
locations in the cut template. (Figure B)
3. Remove and discard the cut template.
4. (a) Using a cutting tool, cut the marked
area on the factory dash panel. (b)
Using a 1/16" drill bit, drill out the (4)
drill locations marked. (Figure C)

KIT ASSEMBLY
Note: For steps 1 and 2, reference the
installation manual provided with the radio
for which hardware to use. The display
screen and radio chassis use two different
types of screws.
1. Secure the radio brackets to the radio
display screen using (6) screws supplied
with the radio. (Figure A)
2. Slide the radio chassis between the radio
brackets, then secure using (4) screws
supplied with the radio. (Figure B)
3. Locate the factory wiring harness and
antenna connector in the dash. Metra
recommends using the proper mating
adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Test the
radio for proper operation.
4. Slide the completed radio assembly into
the dash, then reassemble the dash in
reverse order of disassembly.
5. Place the radio trim panel onto the factory
dash panel, then secure using (4) stainless
steel Torx T-10 screws provided. The screws
should line up with the (4) 1/16" holes pre-
drilled in Kit Preparation. The installation is
now complete. (Figure C)
