4.3 Setting the battery capacity and the charge condi-
tion
These settings are necessary in order that the instrument knows
the nominal capacity (for example 120 Ah) and the actual charge
condition (for example 99.9%) of the battery.
In order to enter SETUP mode press the '<'
and the '>' buttons simultaneously until all
LEDs light up and 'H?1' flashes in the display.
This is SETUP mode.
Now hold the '<' and the '>' buttons
pressed simultaneously until 'H?6' appears in
the display.

If a particular function has been missed while the display
jumps from one to the other it is not possible to return. Keep
both buttons depressed until the desired function reappears
in the display.
In SETUP mode the function number and the value set for
the particular function are shown in the display alternately.
Enter the nominal battery capacity (for
example 120 Ah, in the range 0 .. 995 Ah).
Use the '<' button to increase the value of
the battery capacity.
Use the '>' button to decrease the value of
the battery capacity.
Now hold the '<' and the '>' buttons
pressed simultaneously until 'H?7' appears in
the display.
