Displaying the estimated battery dis-
charge time [hours]
Range: 0 .. 999 hours
The estimated battery discharge time
depends among other things on the present
current value and the present charge condition value.
When the battery is being charged or when no current is being
taken this value is shown as '9?9?9'.
Use the '<' button in order to display other functions.
NOTE!
Never charge or discharge the battery while the instrument
is not connected. If this does happen the instrument will
need to be reset, see section 4.

5.2 Display brightness

It is possible to change the brightness of the display.
This is done using function 'H?1' in SETUP mode (see section 8),
or as follows;
- Press the '<' button until the voltage value is given (function
extreme left).
The brightness can be decreased by holding the '<' button
depressed for a few seconds.
- Press the '>' button until the value of the estimated discharge
time is given (function extreme right).
The brightness can be increased by holding the '>' button
depressed for a few seconds.
When the display brightness is changed in this way the value of
'H?1' in SETUP mode will also be changed.
