Table 5: P0275...P0279 options for indication of state of inverter or faults on DOx digital outputs
DOx Digital Output Function
State of the inverter = STO
(safety stop function activated)
F160 fault
(inverter tripped by safety stop
function fault actuation)
Fault (inverter tripped by
actuation of any fault)
Without fault
(state of the inverter is not fault)
Refer to CFW-11/CFW70X inverter programming manual for a complete list of options for
parameters P0275...P0279.

3.4 PERIODIC TEST

The safety stop function must be activated at least once a year for the purpose of preventive
maintenance. This procedure is performed through the inputs STO1 and STO2 as shown
in
Table 3 on page
11. The inverter power must be removed and then connected again
before performing this preventive maintenance. The safety stop function is operating correctly
if the motor supply is interrupted during the test (the motor must stop) and there is no fault
occurring on the inverter. If the inverter does not pass this test, it must be replaced to ensure
the operational safety of the machine or the related process.
ATTENTION!
Any intervention on the safety board SRBXX that is not performed in WEG's factory
will result in the loss of the functional safety approval.
