Clip snaps into notch on nut as shown.
Connect Ground Cable:
Clip the "C" shaped clips (1) on the ends of
the green wire harness (2), to the nuts of the
inlet hoses. Grooves in the nuts will retain the
clips in place. To provide positive connections
and to prevent the clips from becoming
dislodged, electrical tape can be wrapped
around the clips. Connect the male connector
(3) to the female connector (4). This is on the
zip cable that connects to the solenoid valve.
The zip cable is designed to be peeled apart
from the solenoid cable to the desired length.
If you have copper or iron inlet plumbing
lines, you can cut the remaining grounding
wire (5) off (or bundle the excess wire with a

tie wrap or twist tie) as the unit will be
properly grounded. If PEX or CPVC is
used, use the wire (5) to connect to the
ground of the dishwasher, garbage
disposal or to an outlet ground to provide
proper grounding. Caution: In order for
the unit to work properly the valve must
be properly grounded.
If you are unsure of the grounding, a digital
multimeter can be used to determine if a
good earthground is available. Place the
digital multimeter to its lowest ohms
setting, connect probe to the pipe inlets,
and the earth ground of an electrical outlet.
If the routing is greater than 10 ohms, refer
to number 5 above.
