1.0 Regulatory information
Jøtul FS 164 – I 400 is a freestanding product with Jøtul I 400 as
the burn chamber, which can be positioned against inflammable
walls at the distances described in Fig. 1.
The installation of a fireplace must take place in accordance with
each country's laws and regulations. All local ordinances must
be complied with when products are installed.
The installation instructions are supplied with the surround.
The installation manual with technical data for the burn
chamber is included with the burn chamber. For day-to-day
use, maintenance, service work, etc. see the General user and
maintenance manual.
Contact your local building authorities regarding restrictions and
installation requirements.
The installation can only be taken into use after it has
been inspected and found to be in good order by qualified
personnel.
The product has been tested and documented as a freestanding
product in accordance with EN 13240.
A rating plate made of a heat-resistant material is fixed to the
heat shield. This provides information on identification and
documentation of the product.
