OPERATION

3.1

Function of the display

0.xxx The numeric display indicates the relative change of
diameter of the inner ring of the SensorMount
bearing. The measurement is displayed in
millimetres per metre (‰ ). For example, when
working with a bearing that has a 1 metre bore, a
reading of 0.450 indicates that the internal clearance
has been reduced by 0.450 mm.
8.888 This indication is shown when the indicator is first
switched on and disappears after a few seconds. It
shows that all the LCD segments are working.
batt When this indication appears in the display, it is time
to replace the batteries. The SensorMount Indicator
will continue to function, but accuracy cannot be
guaranteed.
3.2

Function of buttons

ON/OFF Press to set the power on or off.
CLR Press for three seconds to reset the display to zero.
MAX Press and hold to display the maximum value since
the SensorMount Indicator was last reset.
