PREPARATION FOR USE

1. Take care not to damage the sensor
or cable when unpacking the
bearing.
2. Make sure the tapered seating has
the correct dimensions, tolerance
and form.
3. Make sure the bearing being
mounted will have sufficient internal
clearance after mounting.
4. Use a clean, lint-free rag to remove
the preservative from the bore and
outside diameter of the bearing.
5. Lightly oil the bearing seating with a
thin mineral oil.
6. Place the bearing on the tapered
seating and mount a HMV..E
hydraulic nut.
CAUTION: Do not allow the connection
cable to be pinched.
