WARNING
Risk of burns
Welding torches will become overheated if the coolant level is too low.
• Wear protective gloves.
• Check the coolant level at regular intervals.
NOTICE
• Ensure that the coolant supply and return hoses have been correctly
installed. Coolant supply = blue, coolant return = red.
• Do not use deionised or demineralised water as coolant or for leak and
flow tests. This may shorten your welding torch's service life.
• For liquid-cooled welding torches, we recommend using the
ABICOR BINZEL BTC coolant.
Please consult the applicable safety data sheet.

Coolant supply hose
Each time the device is commissioned or after each hose assembly change, the
cooling system must be ventilated as follows: Carry out the following activities:
1 Disconnect the coolant return hose (1) from the re-circulating
cooling unit (3) and hold it over a collecting device.
2 Close the opening at the coolant return hose (1) and open it again by
repeatedly and abruptly releasing it, until the coolant is flowing
continuously and without air bubbles into the collecting device.
3 Switch off the re-circulating cooling unit (3) and reconnect the coolant
return hose (1).
Repeat until the coolant flows into the collection receptacle continuously and
without air bubbles.
