Setting into operation
Open the taps of the inte-
grated double tap connec-
tor by shifting both levers to
position ON.
Separate the output hose
from the spray bar and suck
strongly on the hose, to es-
tablish the syphon.
Alternatively use the EHEIM
priming aid (diam. 16 mm,
order no. 4005540) or the
suction device (order no.
4003540).
The canister will then auto-
matically fill up with water.
Reconnect the hose to the
spray bar.

Note: The water flow from the pump can be controlled by
using the tap only on the pressure side (OUT).

The display on the thermo-
stat shows the actual water
temperature in the aqua-
rium. Now use the adju-
sting knob to select the
temperature which you de-
sire (for example, 27°C).
A symbol (
) indicates when the heater is in operation. When
this symbol goes out, the set temperature has been reached
and the heater is automatically switched off. If the temperature
in the tank sinks below the temperature which has been set,
the heater automatically turns itself on again. By slightly turning
the adjusting knob, a precise adjustment can be made.
Attention: depending on ambient temperature, setting
mode and tolerance values, the actual temperature may be
displayed after several hours.
Should the power supply be cut off, the value indicated on
the display changes and the heater stops working. When
the power is restored the heater works normally.
