    Make sure a capable patient knows how to get out of bed safely (and, if Bed Frame - Always use a standard healthcare bed frame with this TheraRest mattress, with any safeguards or protocols that may be appropriate. Bed frame and side rails (if used) must be properly sized relative to the mattress to help minimize any gaps that might entrap a patient’s head or body.

    The following process is recommended, but should be adapted to comply with local institution protocols. If you are uncertain, you should seek advice from your local Infection Control Specialist. TheraRest MRS should be routinely decontaminated between patients and at regular intervals while in use.

    Brandschutz: Um die Feuergefahr zu minimieren, sind die Sicherheitshinweise zur Vermeidung von Bränden in Klinikbetten („Safety Tips for Preventing Hospital Bed Fires“) der FDA zu beachten. Roken in bed is niet toegestaan – Roken in bed kan gevaarlijk zijn. Met het oog op brandgevaar mag roken in bed nooit worden toegestaan.

    Gebruik geen scherp gereedschap om de dozen te openen. Dit kan schade aan de matras tot gevolg hebben. OPMERKING Voor de TheraRest SMS Perimeter Plus VE-modellen; als de matras bij een temperatuur onder de kamertemperatuur werd opgeslagen, moet deze eerst op kamertemperatuur komen voordat u naar de volgende stap mag gaan.

    LET OP Gebruik altijd een standaard bedkader voor zorginstellingen in combinatie met de van toepassing zijnde beveiligingsvoorzieningen of protocollen. De afmetingen van het kader en de bedhekken moeten afgestemd zijn op de matras, om mogelijke tussenruimten waarin het hoofd of lichaam van de zorgvrager bekneld kan raken, tot een minimum te beperken.

Het TheraRest MRS dient routinematig tussen zorgvragers en op regelmatige intervallen tijdens het gebruik te worden ontsmet.
