All SCOTT snowmobile goggles comply with the conditions and safety
requirements of Directive 89/686/EEC. Our products are inspected at the
factory in accordance with EN 13178 (version 06/2000) and are type-tested
by Italcert (NB0426), Viale Sarca 336, 20126 Milano, Italy
When used properly, it is assured that:
• No injuries will be caused by sharp edges or protruding elements on the
goggles;
• Eyes will be protected against harmful UV rays;
• The snowmobile goggles – assuming the correct size has been chosen and
the adjustable head strap has been fitted correctly – will protect against
draughts (airflow), snow and ice particles;
• Sufficient air circulation is guaranteed through the foam-covered openings;
• The lenses are optically accurate.
