WARNING: Do not put ice cream or ice in your mouth immediately after taking
them out of the freezer compartment. Very cold ice can freeze on your lips or
tongue and hurt you.
WARNING: Do not touch frozen foods with wet hands. The ice could stick your
hands to the food.
WARNING: Do not use or place electrical appliances (for example electric ice
cream makers, blenders, etc.) in the refrigerator and/or the freezer.
m
Aking iCe Cubes
To make ice cubes, fill an ice cube tray three-quarters full of cold water, and place it in
the freezer for more than 2 hours.
To remove the ice cubes, slightly bend the tray or place it under running water for a
few seconds.
d
efrosting
Your refrigerator's defrosting system is automatic. The back of the appliance gets
covered with frost when the compressor is running and defrosts when the compressor
is off. When the frost melts, the water evaporates on its own.
The freezer compartment must always be defrosted when the frost layer has
reached a thickness of about 4 mm. In all cases, this compartment must be
defrosted at least once a year.
To defrost, use a squeegee or any plastic utensil, but never use metal instruments,
de-icing products or electric appliances such as hair dryers, steam cleaners, etc.
