Products with long stroke lengths:
Use the central support (accessories).

The diagrams in the appendix Characteristic curves" show the deflections that
will result, depending on the mounting position, support spacing and effective
load.
Make sure that the device is installed free

of distortions and deflections.
(Evenness of bearing surface: 0.2 mm).
Mounting of the central supports:
Place the central supports on the DMES in
S
accordance with Fig. 6.
For DMES−40/63: By tipping the device,
the slot nuts of the central supports slide
into the slot at any point on the profile.
Turn the mounting screws until they are
S
equally tight.
Make sure that the central supports are
S
outside the positioning range of the slide.
Installation in a vertical or diagonal position:
Warning
Risk of personal injury and material damage
In the event that the spindle nut breaks (e. g. due to wear) inside the DMES, the
work mass will fall down.
S Check whether additional external safety measures against spindle nut
breakage are necessary (e. g. toothed latches or moving bolts).
S Replace the spindle nut and where necessary the spindle if the permitted
axial play is exceeded.
