4.3 - Mode walkthrough (stp)
Place the selector switch in position (osc). If necessary, set the mode (stp)
menu of the oscilloscope. Also set the time base, amplitude, trigger type and
trigger level desired (see "Menu Navigation").
To trigger the capture of the signal, touch the probe Ziptec the wire or terminal to
be measured and to keep in touch. Press and wait until the signal appears
on the screen. Press again for new shots.
4.4 - Secondary Ignition
To measure the waveform of the secondary ignition switch the connection to the
connector clamps accessories Ziptec.
Place the selector switch in the function (osc).
Position the clamps inductive (PI-black) and capacitive (PC-red) around the spark
plug wires and connect the black clamp to a grounding point, as the negative pole
of the vehicle battery.
Select a key position in connection clamps SEC.
Also set the mode of the oscilloscope (STP or CON), time base, amplitude,
trigger type and trigger level desired (see "Menu Navigation").
After configuration, the signal will be captured according to the chosen mode
(STP or CON).
