5 - Set the type and level of trigger
The trigger event is the trigger condition of capturing the electrical signal.
Oscilloscope function in the Ziptec lets you select the desired trigger level and
trigger types:
• ( ) falling edge - Triggers when the signal is down and exceed the trigger
level chosen.
• ( ) rising edge - Triggers when the signal is rising and exceeds the trigger
level chosen.
• (M) manual - triggers the capture signal edge without notice or trigger level.
Secondary function, with connecting clamps connected, the Ziptec lets you select
the desired trigger level and trigger types:
• (vv) candle candle - allows individual check of each candle, by analyzing the
pulses tweezers inductive and capacitive.
• (ET+) static ignition positive - triggers the capture synchronizing pulses with
negative static ignition (no distributor).
• (ET-) negative static ignition - triggers the capture synchronizing with the
positive pulses of static ignition (no distributor).
• (PI) inductive clamp - shoots pulses synchronizing with the spark plug wire
caught by inductive clamp.
