3 - How to increase battery life
Generally, the 9V battery Lithium-ion satisfies the duration of operation specified.
However, if the battery is completely discharged (for example, if no charge is
stored for a long period of time), it is possible that their condition has deteriorated.
To keep the battery in good condition, follow the directions below:
Let the unit run on battery until when, at the bottom left of the screen, the symbol
appears .
This indicates that the level is low and the battery 9V Lithium-ion battery must be
recharged.
4 - Replace the 9V battery Lithium-ion
Normally it is not necessary to replace the battery. Otherwise, this should be
done by qualified personnel only. For more information, please contact the

5 - Troubleshooting
5.1 - The ZIPTEC not turn
The battery may be completely discharged. Connect Ziptec in support (base) for
a few minutes and try to connect again. If it works, disconnect the Ziptec and
charge the battery.
If you do not connect anyway, insert the tip of a paper clip into the reset hole on
the back of the device. Feed Ziptec with battery charger and connect it again.
If all else fails, contact Technical Support Tecnomotor.
5.2 - The ZIPTEC off after a few seconds
The battery may be discharged. Observe the battery symbol on the bottom left of
the screen. a symbol indicates that the battery is dead and must be
recharged.
Another indication is the drive battery continuous beep with the screen off.
5.3 - Operating time with fully charged battery is too short
The battery may be in poor condition. Please contact Technical Support
Tecnomotor.
