Install Shoulder Strap
1. Position hanger (G) on outer tube (H) between
the handle and throttle assembly. Loosely secure
the hanger with nut (I) and bolt (J).
2. Adjust the shoulder strap so the shoulder pad
rests comfortably on the left shoulder and the
cutting path of the cutting attachment is parallel
to the ground. Tighten bolt (J).

Install Handle Assembly
T242 with 1-screw handle:
1. Install handle and barrier bar (K).

T242 with 4-screw handle:
1. Install handle (L) and barrier bar (M).

Install Gear Case
1. Install gear case onto outer tube. Align locating
hole on gear case with locating hole in tube.
2. Install locating bolt (A1) and tighten clamp bolt
(B1).
