IKAR Fall Arrester with recovery mechanism
(HRA) as component:
2 IKAR Fall arrester with recovery mechanism
with recovery mechanism of the type HRA can be
mounted as described below.
Fasten the two retaining plates with the 2 supplied
screws to the lower cantilever arm. Insert the HRA
device from above and secure it with the socket pins
provided ().
Pull out the socket pins from the upper arm to
release it and fl ip down the upper cantilever arm.
Pull out the socket pins of the lower rope pulley and
fl ip up the rope pulley.
Pull the rope and karabiner through and insert them
into the rope pulley. Then fl ip the rope pulley back
down and secure it with the socket pin.
Pull out the socket pin from the upper rope cover
and fl ip up the cover (). Pull the karabiner through
and insert the rope into the rope pulley. Then close
the cover () and secure it with the socket pin.
Attach the karabiner to the ring eye.
The Fall Arrester with recovery mechanism (HRA) pulls in the rope automatically
Preparation for operation
as long as the recovery mechanism has not been activated.
