Full auto mode (green square) or "P".
"Automatic" must be selected in the camera's
menu when in the "P" mode!
Automatic flash mode A:
Setting on the mecablitz: A (Automatic)
Adjust the aperture on the mecablitz according to
the preselected camera aperture. We recommend
a film speed setting of ISO 200/24° on the camera.
But any film speed can be selected to match the
shooting conditions.
Setting on the SCA 3102:
The switch position is irrelevant.
The display
illuminate.
Manual flash mode M:
Setting on the mecablitz:
M (manual flash mode)
Set the "P" mode on the camera. Select in the
camera's menu an aperture that matches the
flash-to-subject distance (see aperture calculator
or LC-display of the mecablitz).
Setting on the SCA 3102:

A) E-TTL flash mode
The digital cameras only support the E-TTL flash
mode (only possible with mecablitz 40 MZ-1i,
40 MZ-3i and 54 MZ-...) in the full auto mode (or
"AUTO"), program "P", "Av", "Tv" and in the
