Problem
Unit does not power ON when

Possible Cause
1. Not enough time for console to
detect signal.

Possible Solution
1. Keep the ON/OFF button pressed for
at least 1 second.
1. Keep the ON/OFF button pressed for
at least 2 seconds.
1. Keep the Irrigation button Pressed for
at least 1 second.
1. This is a normal condition, the air
pump will turn off automatically after
approximately 15 minutes.
1. Return attachment to DePuy Synthes
Power Tools for service.
1. Verify plugs to wall and back of
console are pushed in completely.
2. Verify another piece of electrical
equipment can receive power from outlet.
1. Return to DePuy Synthes Power Tools
for service.
2. Decrease cutting force, allow motor
to cool.
3. Unkink hose (verify it is not being
pinched or clamped to table).
4. Return to DePuy Synthes Power Tools
for service.
5. Return to DePuy Synthes Power Tools
for service.
1. Replace with new dissection tool.
2. Reassemble dissection tool and
attachment.
3. Only use correct dissection tool with
appropriate attachment.
4. Return to DePuy Synthes Power Tools
for service.
1. Manually rotate the Indicator Bar to the
Unlock (Load) Symbol.
2. Manually rotate the unit shaft.
1. Follow Instruction carefully to remove
the attachment.
2. Manually rotate the Indicator Bar to the
Unlock (Load) Symbol.

1. Do not use, replace attachment.
