Before start working, verify the diameter and height of the trunk that you are going to cut.
Always finish the cut from the opposite side of the lean direction to avoid that the guide bar
remains clogged in the cut.
A trunk supported in the ground.
Saw downwards until half of the trunk, then roll the
trunk and cut it from the opposite side.
A trunk separated from the ground.
In zone A, saw from the lower side a third and finish sawing
downwards from the top side. In zone B, saw from the top
side a third and finish sawing from the bottom side.
Cutting the branches of a fallen tree.
First verify to what side the branch is twisted. Then make the
first cut on the twisted side and finish sawing from the
opposite side.
Be alert of a cut branch kickback.
Pruned of a vertical tree.
Cut upwards from the bottom, finish downwards from the top side.

Always hold the chainsaw with two hands.

CHAINSAW MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning, checking or repairing the chainsaw, make sure that the engine is cold and that
it has stopped. Disconnect the spark plug to avoid an accidental starting.
· MAINTENANCE AFTER EACH USE
1. Air filter
The dust on the surface of the filter can be removed striking a corner of the filter against the
hard surface. To clean the dirt in the gears, separate the filter in two parts and brush it with fuel.
When using compressed air, blow from the inside.
