1x retaining bracket, alarm system
4x cable support sleeves

Models without ABS
Preparations
- Remove the seat.
- Remove the tool set.
- Mount the cable support sleeves (1) onto the retaining bracket.
- Insert the bushes (2) into the cable support sleeves from below.
Assembly
- (A) Basic position of the cable for the reed connector.
- Reroute the cable for the reed connector (3).
- Route the cable for the diagnosis device (4) at the rear of the storage com-
partment. To do this, remove the clamp (5). Check that the cable is routed
without kinks and areas where chafing may occur.
- Route the cable, as shown by the dotted line (B), under the retaining bra-
cket (6).
- Screw the retaining bracket onto the vehicle (4x0081500181,
3x0021050003).
- Also screw on the holder for fastening the tool set (7).
Fastening the alarm system
- Thoroughly degrease the retaining bracket and the bottom of the alarm sys-
tem.
- Bond one of the delivered Velcro strips to the retaining bracket (8) and one
to the bottom of the alarm system (9) (see Figure).
