A) Line the bottom of the sink with newspaper to prevent debris,
parts or tools from falling into drain.
B) Place masking tape over area to be drilled to help prevent
scratches if drill bit slips.
C) Mark hole with a center punch. Use a 1/4-inch drill bit to drill the
pilot hole.
D) Use a 5/8-inch drill bit and drill a hole completely through the sink.
E) Smooth rough edges with a file.

3. Mounting the Faucet
A) Place black rubber gasket onto the stem of the faucet
(Figure 3).
B) Place the stem into the hole on the sink. The faucet should sit
evenly and flat on the suface.
C) Under the sink, slide the metal washer onto the stem. Screw
the plastic stem nut up the stem threads until snug. Position the
faucet and finger tighten the nut until faucet is secure.
Do not use pliers to tighten the stem nut. Damage to the

4. Mounting the System
A) Select a location under the sink, or in basement where the
system will be installed.
B) Mount the system vertically (Figure 4). Dimensions in the diagram
allow for cartridge removal or system removal. Ensure that the
mounting is level.
Use the 3/32-inch drill bit to create pilot holes for the mounting.
The system should be mounted on a firm, solid surface
