The stove should be connected to a dedicated chimney.
The equipment must comply with the national and regional safety and installation
standards and regulations.
Use a rain cap on the top of the chimney with an exit diameter twice the diameter of the
EN
chimney.
Chimney configurations:
1. Insulated double wall chimney
2. Cleaning vent
3. Air intake
4. Rain cap
5. Chimney coaxial flues
Combustion air
To achieve optimal combustion, besides fuel, it is necessary air supply, normally the air is
captured in the same space were the stove is installed or directly from outside.
With the improvement of insolation of the houses, and with the existence of air extraction
equipments (like extractor hoods and others) the interior of the house can easily become in
depression. This will cause an inefficient combustion.
The working stove consumes air in the process of pellet combustion, it is recommendable
to install a fresh air intake near the stove to prevent the room where the equipment is in from
entering in depression and affect the combustion. If there is a sufficiently ventilated room
adjacent to the space where the stove is located, there is no need for the additional air intake.
If the air inlet of the stove is connected directly to the exterior is recommended that it should
be closed during the time the equipment is not used protecting the stove against humidity and
bugs nest.
