Troubleshooting

IMPORTANT :
Only authorised personnel should work on the system when it is powered up.

The light does not come on when
there is movement in the coverage
area (LED under the front panel

Cause
Power supply fault
Wiring fault
Switch-on may be prevented because
the ambient lighting level in the zone
is higher than the lighting level set
The link between the detector and
the unit has been broken

Cause
The units are in "forced off" mode
Sensor incorrectly located and detecting
movement outside the desired zone
Switch-off may be prevented because
the ambient lighting level in the zone
is less than the lighting level set
The sensor is activated by circulation
of air coming from the air conditioning,
heating or ventilation system
The units are in " forced on" mode
The accessory used to mask the lens
is hiding the green LED

Solution
Check the unit associated with the
detector is supplied with power
Check the RJ cable link
1 : 0 V
2 : + 12 V
3 : detection
4 : IR reception
5 : serial link
6 : serial link
Turn the level potentiometer to
maximum ( ). If the light comes on,
readjust the setting
Check the continuity of the link at
terminals 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the RJ cable
Solution
Change back to automatic mode
(see system guide)
Mask the lens to reduce
the coverage area
Turn the level potentiometer to
minimum ( ). Readjust the setting
Install the sensor in a better
better position
Change back to automatic mode
(see system guide)
Turn the detector so that the dummy strip
does not mask the green LED
