Operating instructions EFP 2
The EFP pressing tool functions electromechanically. The power is
transmitted via a safety coupling. The safety coupling switches off
when the maximum press capacity has been reached.
An automatic pressing function ensures that the pressed joint is
completely finished. For safety reasons, the automatic pressing
function does not switch on until 20% of the press capacity is
reached. The pressing process then continues automatically and
cannot be interrupted.
The pressing tool has a swivelling pressing head. It can only be
turned before the pressing process by holding the pressing tool by
the handle and turning the front part of the pressing cylinder.
