Maintenance
• Have an authorised specialist workshop check the press capacity and
the state of wear
Clean and lubricate the pressing device
Prerequisites
Pressing device is switched off.
WARNING
Risk of injury by switching on inadvertently
` Unplug the mains connector before starting any
maintenance work on the tool
CAUTION
Damage to the device by moisture
` Never immerse the pressing device in water or other
liquids
1 Clean the roller drive and locking pin of the pressing device

Use compressed air or a brush to remove dirt
Use WD-40® or equivalent to lubricate the roller drive, its

guide and the locking pin
4 Wipe away excess grease
Top up the gearbox grease
CAUTION
Damage to the gearbox due to too little gearbox
grease
` Top up gearbox grease every six months or after 2500
pressing operations
