Operating instructions EFP 2
Press the locking pin in as far as it will go and turn it by

180° to the rear
Pressing a press fitting
Prerequisites
• Pipe ends are deburred and clean.
• Pipe and press fitting have been fitted together in
accordance with the installation instructions for the
system in question.
WARNING
The pressing tool closes automatically.
Danger of crushing
` Do not hold any parts of your body or other objects in
between the pressing jaws
` Do not hold the pressing tool in the area of the pressing
jaws
Refer to the operating instructions of the relevant system
for information about pressing with pressing collars and
adapters or with MapressMAM jaw adapters.
Ensure the diameter of the press fitting matches the

diameter of the pressing jaw

Connect the pressing tool to the power supply
Place the pressing jaw onto the press fitting, see the

operating instructions for the pressing jaws
Press the start button and hold it until the safety coupling

switches off
