order to ensure that your manufacturer product maintains
these high standards after installation and throughout its
service life, please read the following instructions.
1. Check that the mains electrical equipment connected
to cubicle conforms to current electrical standards and
regulations and is fitted with a fully efficient earth
connection.
2. Check that rating of the mains power supply line matches
the absorbed power specified for the cubicle (see Technical
specifications).
3. The electrical connection between the cubicle and the
mains must be protected against water spray and must
have a protection rating of IP55 or higher.
4. The electrical equipment upstream from the cubicle
must be fitted with an omnipolar 30 mA switched circuit
breaker with a minimum contact opening of 3 mm, which
conforms to current electrical regulations.
5. In addition, if the product is installed in the bathroom,
the standard requires the omnipolar circuit breaker (I) to
be placed outside areas 0,1,2,3 (see figure 1).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND MAINTENANCE:
When lighting for the first time:
The stones are stacked in the special compartment under
the grill amongst the electric elements.
The stones should have a diameter of 4-8 cm. (Only use
the stones supplied.)
Before inserting the stones, it is advisable to wash away
any dust from them. The stones must not be too close to
each other so that air can circulate between the resistive
elements.
The stones should be stacked without pressure and they
should not be wedged between the heater elements.
The stones should cover the resistive elements completely.
Over time the stones tend to crumble. Therefore they
need to be rearranged at least once a year, or more often,
if the sauna is used frequently.
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by stones
not recommended by the firm, or damage caused by
crumbling stones or stones that are too small and prevent
proper ventilation.
It is extremely important that no object or appliance is
placed inside the space in the heater intended for the
stones, or near the heater since an impeded air flow could
cause an excessive increase in the resistance temperature
with a resulting danger of fire!
HYGIENE CONDITIONS FOR THE SAUNA:
The sauna box is made of untreated wood.
As it is a natural fibre, after several sessions, cracks may
appear. As these are linked to the natural aging of the
wood, they are not considered harmful either for the
structural integrity or the correct operation of the sauna.
We recommend towels are used to protect the wood from
sweat. When necessary, the wood surface should be
cleaned using a product designed specially for saunas.
To clean the floor and the stove, remove the dirt and dust
then wipe with a damp cloth.

TO USE THE SAUNA CORRECTLY:
The optimum temperature for the sauna is 75 - 80°.
The humidity is regulated by throwing small amounts of
water on the very hot stones. The excess water does not
evaporate and is collected in a special basin. Always use

clean water. Water rich in humus and chlorine or sea water
must not be used. Special perfumes produced specifically
for sauna water may be used.

A sauna should not last longer than 20 minutes. We
recommend you start with shorter times. It is advisable

not to go in with an empty stomach (a light snack of fruit

or yoghurt is good). After the sauna, it is advisable to take

a cool then a cold shower to bring your body temperature
back to normal.

Fluids lost through sweating will also be recovered. (Avoid
sugary drinks, stimulants and, especially, alcohol).
WHEN NOT TO USE THE SAUNA:
• If your blood pressure is too high or too low.
0
• If you have heart or circulation problems.
• If you have a fever.
• If your skin is inflamed.
• During pregnancy.
• During the menstrual cycle (risk of haemorrhage)
• If you are still growing
• If you are under the effect of alcohol, strong medicines
or drugs.
WHY YOU SHOULD TAKE A SAUNA:
It has a relaxing effect on muscles and a pain-killing action.
As it removes dead cells, the skin becomes more luminous
and elastic and offers greater resistance to atmospheric
agents.
It improves the blood and lymphatic circulation. It is
particularly suitable for athletes as it helps recovery,
speeding up the digestion of toxins and lactic acid.
A sauna does not have a slimming effect; weight lost
during a session is linked to the loss of fluids which will
be recovered by drinking after coming out of the sauna.
WARNINGS:
• Never hang clothes inside the sauna, as they could be
a fire hazard.
• Do not touch the heater when it is hot as it could cause
burns.
• Before using it, consult your doctor about the risks the
sauna could cause for your health.
• Never put water in the sauna and, if it should happen,
make sure you dry it immediately.
• When you throw water onto the stones, be extremely
careful as the steam released could cause burns!
