The measuring tool is provided with two
warning labels in English (marked with
number 12 and 29 in the representation of
the measuring tool on the graphics page).
Do not direct the laser beam at persons or
animals and do not look into the laser beam
yourself. This measuring tool generates laser
radiation
IEC 60825-1. Looking directly into the laser
beam – even from a greater distance cause dam-
ages to the eyes.
Do not allow children to use the measuring
tool without supervision. They could uninten-
tionally direct the laser beam toward persons or
animals and cause damage to their eyes.
Avoid reflection of the laser beam on
smooth surfaces such as windows or mir-
rors. A reflected laser beam can also cause dam-
age to the eye.
The measuring tool should be operated only
by persons that are familiar with the han-
dling of
EN 60825-1, this includes, among other things,
the knowledge about the bioligical effects of the
laser to the eyes and the skin as well as the correct
usage of laser protection devices in order to avoid
dangers.
