PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Figure 1 illustrates the 3M™ DBI-SALA™ Concrete Wedge Anchor. The Concrete Wedge Anchor is a reusable anchor point for
horizontal, vertical, or overhead concrete applications.
Figure 2 illustrates components of the Concrete Wedge Anchor. See Table 1 for Component Specifications. The anchor's End
Termination expands Wedges (F) to secure the anchor in a 20 mm (or .75 inch) mounting hole. A spring-tensioned Trigger (C)
and Retractor Cables (J) release the Wedges to allow removal and relocation to another hole. The Fall Arrest subsystem connects
to Swivel Connector Ring (A) for Fall Arrest, Work Positioning, or Restraint.

Anchorage: Fall Arrest: The structure to which the anchorage connector is mounted must be capable of sustaining
force in the anticipated directions of loading. Each anchorage point location must be capable of the
following values:

The concrete the anchor is secured in must have a compressive strength of 20.7 MPa (3,000 psi). The
Concrete Wedge Anchor is not intended for use in lightweight concrete, hollow block, grout, stone,
wood, steel, or any other substrate. The concrete base material must be at least 12.7 cm (5 in.) thick.
