CAUTION! Never set the shutter manually. Risk of damage!
9. You can set the temperature scale to be shown on the temperature indicator in degree Celsi-
us or Fahrenheit. Select the scale with the (14h) button.
10. All functions described above can be operated directly from the control panel (3) or the re-
mote control (14), except for the functions described in sections 8 and 9, which you can oper-
ate only with the remote control.
11. The LCD display (14) on the remote control shows all the functions described above and their
parameters, as well as the battery level. However, for the remote control to work properly, it
must be used near the air conditioner and pointed directly at the infrared receiver (20).
12. The appliance features a self-evaporating system. The condensation water is used to cool
the condenser. This saves energy and increases cooling efficiency. However, the amount of
the condensate may be excessive, depending on many factors, in which case it is directed to
the water reservoir. When the reservoir is full, it will be signalled by the "FL" symbol on the
LED display (3h). The air conditioner will stop working – empty the reservoir following the
instructions in the chapter "WATER DRAINAGE METHODS"
13. Afterwards, turn off the air conditioner and unplug it from the mains. Secure the hot air ex-
haust duct.
WATER DRAINAGE METHODS
The air conditioner has two water outlets secured with a rubber plug and a screw cap:
- bottom water reservoir outlet plug (10) – it is used to empty
the water reservoir when full
- top water outlet plug for the dehumidifying function (6) – it
is used to connect the drain hose that systematically drains the
condensation water, but only in the dehumidifying mode
1) MANUAL EMPTYING OF THE WATER RESERVOIR
- When the water reservoir is full (indicated by "FL"), turn off the air
conditioner and unplug the power cord from the mains.
CAUTION! Move the appliance carefully not to spill the water from the reservoir at the bottom of the housing.
- place a flat dish under the bottom water outlet plug (10)
- unscrew the cap, remove the rubber plug (Fig. 8)
CAUTION! Watch the water pouring out from the outlet; if the dish is too small, put the plug back on, empty the
dish, remove the plug again and continue emptying the reservoir
- to pour out all the water you can tilt the appliance gently
- after pouring all the water out, put on the plug and screw on the cap
- pour the condensate into the sink, do not use it for any other purpose
CAUTION! Do not switch on the appliance with an open water outlet to avoid the risk of flooding the floor with
the condensate.
