5. Special conditions of use (X conditions)

5.1 Model TIF11-I
Installation in areas requiring EPL Ga or EPL Gb equipment
Electronic assemblies of field transmitter model TIF11-I shall be

mounted in an enclosure, suitable for installation in EPL Ga or EPL Gb
area respectively, wherein electrostatic charge effects are excluded.
The enclosure shall provide as a minimum degree of protection IP20
according to EN 60529.
Wiring inside this housing shall satisfy the conditions of clause 6.3.12
■
and 7.6.e of EN 60079-11:2012.
Terminals or connectors for the intrinsically safe circuits shall be
■
arranged according to clause 6.2.1 or 6.2.2 of EN 60079-11:2012
respectively.
Installation in areas requiring EPL Da or EPL Db equipment
Electronic assemblies of field transmitter model TIF11-I shall be

mounted in an enclosure, suitable for installation in EPL Da or EPL Db
area respectively, wherein electrostatic charge effects are excluded.
The enclosure shall provide as a minimum degree of protection IP5x
(Group IIIB application) or IP6x (Group IIIC application) according to
EN 60529.
